NZSL Ninja Challenge

 Hey Bloggers,

This week is NZSL week, more than 14 years ago NZSL became an official New Zealand language (6 April 2006) I would like to give you a brief history of this wonderful language. New Zealand sign language uses a mix of English and Maori Translations, this is why it is not a universal language. The first (NZ) school of the deaf opened in 1980 in Christchurch and was called 'Sumner School of the deaf' and is still open to this day. This language. This used to be banned from being used in the 1880s, however, in 2011 Television used interpreters for the briefings after the Christchurch earthquakes. This was the first tie the interpreters were seen on screen.

To celebrate we went on this game called 'Sign Ninja' that taught us the basics (colours, numbers, food, drinks) of NZSL using a Ninja type game, then we were instructed to create a video of us saying "hello my name is_____" in sign language. Down below you can see my attempt and the sign language game that we played. Why don't you have a go at doing these challenges? What words do you know in NZSL? I would really like to know in the comments.

Our Final Rocket launch!!

 Hey Bloggers,

As you may know for the past 8 weeks we have been learning about how to design our own rocket. and recently we have been launching ours into the air, one final time. This was a great experience to have and would 100% do it again if I had the chance. Some of the things I found hard were the gluing of the fins and keeping them on during the test launches, this works its self out in the outcome because no fins came off during the last flight due to us using stronger glue. Overall my team was personally amazing and wouldn't change our group for the world. What would you call your rocket team if you had one?

animating a interactive PSA (sort of)

Hey bloggers,

For the past few Wednesdays, we have been looking at PSA and more importantly, how to create them using code. Mine is about littering when we see a girl litter and her teacher tells her not to do it, But I made the teacher spin round while he said it (which is the main reason I didn't screenshot it) This was pretty basic and the software was personally better than a scratch, If you made a PSA could you link it in the comments I Would love to check them out.
