Backwards stratagey

Hey guys,

This and last week in maths we have been learning different strategies in algebra to help us work out the problems. for a couple of days, we have been working on the backward strategy. The backward strategy is when you have a problem that has a part of the answer and it's your job to tackle the rest of the problem and figure out the rest of the answer. take an example where you have a problem like this (?x3)+5=20 you could either guess and check or turn you're + into - or turn your x into divide (can't do it properly) You get the basis. If you like take a try at my word problem and solve it in the comments.
